Diamond Colour

Whilst diamonds are found in colours such as blue, green, champagne, pink and an intense yellow, they are generally range from a faint yellow to valuable colourless. A colourless diamond receives the ‘D’ grade and is very rare. MDTdesign stock this ‘D’ colour all the way to the ‘G’ coloured stone, usually classified as a “fine white”.

Diamonds Colour

Exotic coloured diamonds like yellow, champagne or pink are graded differently. The stronger the colour, the rarer and more valuable the diamond is.

If you want an unusual and rare stone, MDTdesign stock one of the largest coloured diamond ranges in Australia.

We can go into more detail about diamond clarity, diamond cut, diamond colour, and diamond carat weight and how they affect the beauty and value of the diamond.
